Unshare a Business Bank Account
If you’ve shared a business bank account with other members, you can remove their access at any time.
Unsharing removes the account from the other member’s Wallet immediately. Any payments already in progress will still complete.
Who can unshare a business bank account
Any member who has a validated business bank account in their Wallet that is shared with another member can unshare it.
How to unshare a business bank account
- In the navigation tabs (on the left on web, on the bottom on mobile) go to Account > Wallet.
- In the Bank accounts section, find the verified business bank account and select the three dots (⋮) next to the account.
- Select Unshare.
- Select the members you want to remove.
- Click Unshare.
- Click Confirm
You’ll see a confirmation once the account has been unshared.
What happens after you unshare a business bank account
- The account is removed from the unshared member’s Wallet immediately.
- The unshared member can no longer use the account for reimbursements, bill payments, or Expensify Card settlement.
- The unshared member receives a message from Concierge notifying them of the change.
Note: Any payments already in progress before the bank account was unshared will still complete.

What to do if you can’t unshare a business bank account
If the bank account is set as an Expensify Card settlement account for that member, you won’t be able to unshare it.
To resolve this, click Reach out to Concierge in the error message. Concierge will help switch the settlement account so you can proceed.

Can I unshare a bank account I didn’t originally add?
Yes. As long as your copy of the business bank account is active, you can unshare it from any member.
Can a bank account be unshared with the original account owner?
Yes. Any member with access can unshare the bank account from another member, including the original account owner.
Will the unshared member be notified when I unshare the bank account?
Yes. They’ll receive a message from Concierge letting them know they no longer have access.
What happens to processing reimbursements when a bank account is unshared?
Processing payments will still complete when the account is unshared.
